Happy Valentine's Day!

The kids really love Valentine's Day. They both decided earlier in the month that they wanted to make heart-shaped sugar cookies. So that's what we did tonight. We made sugar cookies, made pink frosting for the cookies, and then we added sprinkles and chocolate chips.

Tomorrow (later today) we'll give some to Nans and Gramps.

I wanted to take a picture of the cookies but Andy and I haven't had a chance to look at the new camera yet. So if one of us gets to it this weekend, I'll post a picture.

Andy and I both ordered each other a present online and neither present has arrived due to the snowstorms. Oo and Ro will be able to open their gift tomorrow. They're into Neopets everything these days so we got them each a starter pack of the Neopet card game so they could play the game together.

All this Valentine talk has reminded me of Valentine's day during grade school days. Did you ever get any Valentines where the person never signed it? It was just blank. Those were weird. The best one I ever got in the elementary school days was in 5th grade. It was home-made and carefully crafted and cut out!
