Today is about all things autumn.

Our Texas trip was filled with fun outings, good chats, and great food. Definitely fun! We've been home since Wednesday night and are now taking a mini O'Neill vacation to get re-acquainted with our home. So it's been video games, catching up on missed episodes of TV shows, watching Thanksgiving cartoons, and reading. We've become a tiny bit reclusive. The phone rang a few times yesterday but we didn't bother to answer it. ;)

It was fairly warm in Houston, so I am now more able to appreciate autumn in Virginia. Today was about lighting cider and apple pie scented candles, looking at orange leaves that have piled up on the ground around the oak across the stream, never changing out of cozy pajamas, listening to music that knows the beauty of fall and winter, and catching up on all things poetry (including the wonderfulness that is this)!

And Monday is years away!
