Happy Halloween (a little late)

Ok. So it's past Halloween. Good bye October and All Hallows Eve. Now we get All Saints' Day and then All Souls' Day.

Well, damn October, you moved too quickly for me. November, will you please do me a favor and slow down so that I can enjoy you better than I was able to enjoy October? Please?

What all this complaining means is that we've been busier than heck this past week. Texas and relatives and vacation soon. But that meant and means too much "to do list" writing and checking in the middle of Halloween fun and other routine weekly stuff. So

Halloween was a fun but quick event for us O'Neills. We went to a Halloween party at a friend's house this past night (we've been every Halloween for the last few years) and then took the kids Trick or Treating around their neighborhood. All of Oona's friends from Girl Scouts were at the party,so they decided to Trick or Treat together with the their troop leader and some of the parents. I went with Oo and Andy took Ronin to some other houses in the neighborhood(the group of girls were to slow for A and Ro).

And now it's back to more packing (yay! Not.).

I was going to track down some good ghost stories and post some links to them but now I'm too tired.

I've got Poe in my candy jar, so here, take one:

Ulalume
The Raven
Annabel Lee
Spirits of the Dead
Masque of the Red Death

And for an early All Soul's Night/Day you get Loreena:
