The Bougainvillea Hideaway

Enter a hollow of leaves and fuchsia flowers. Random thoughts litter the floor like a bed of crushed petals.

Weirdness.

Or maybe just my silliness.

Every Sunday after church we (us O'Neills) usually go to a restaurant. This week it was my pick. I chose my favorite Chinese restaurant because it has the best General Tso's in town. It also has hot tea (though another Chinese restaurant in town has the best hot tea - Jasmine), delicious cream cheese filled wontons, mushrooms, seasoned string beans, fried rice (without too many onions)etc, etc, etc. Ok, yeah, so you probably get why I chose this place. And they even brought out chopsticks for us without our having to ask for them! Hmmm. Maybe we visit this restaurant a little too often. Oh well.

Anyway, at one point while we were sitting at our table I thought about the concept of sour grapes.

A little while later when we were given our fortune cookies I grabbed this one:

The grapes you cannot
taste are always sour.

No matter if it was weirdness, or just my silliness, it was still funny.
