Mid-January Chatter

Wow. It's mid-January already. We all thought last year went by pretty fast and this year has seemed (to us) to take off in just as quick of a pace. It's no use to try to grab it by the back of its shirt or whatever years wear or have.

It's been fairly busy around here and so Christmas is just finally beginning to make its way back into storage. Can you believe that?

So,everything Christmas is marching back into the closet but I'm not gonna let the Pine Isles Dept. 56 pieces join the others for a while. It took me until nearly late in December to set the town up and it looks so perfect and wintry and not only just Christmassy. :) Yeah, I think it can stay for a while.

I think I'm going to try a more organized approach to gardening this year. So, seed catalogs/websites, I'll have a look at you this week. Barely thought up garden plan/design, be prepared to be sketched in. Little bits and bobs of time, I know you're around.
