What's that? I hear 2013 scratching at the door! Happy (almost) New Year!

It's almost time for us to let in the New Year in these here parts! Hear, hear! ;) Saying "two-thousand-thirteen" will sound funny for a while, I think. Maybe I'll say "twenty-thirteen" instead. Who knows?

I've been thinking about resolutions for 2013 as many people do the closer they get to a new year. I haven't always made resolutions the night before a new year, instead preferring to make little resolutions all throughout the year. And I still make resolutions throughout the year when the whim strikes. But lately, I've been thinking more about what could be done differently and better for 2013 and beyond. These ideas for change are mostly headings without too many subheadings. It's like a skeleton of an outline. And an outline is already a skeleton! Boo! Er, wrong holiday!

Anyway, I raise my glass to the near ghost of the Old Year and raise my glass again to the fresh New Year and to you all!
