The Bougainvillea Hideaway

Enter a hollow of leaves and fuchsia flowers. Random thoughts litter the floor like a bed of crushed petals.

The Journey or the Destination?

I've always been about both. It's like history. The past reminds us of where we've been (and also provides us with interesting stories) and helps us learn what to do and what not to do in the future. And the journey is never really over. It's only artificially so when the journey ends on one point and/but then continues on to the next. And those points are checkpoints (to other checkpoints and other checkpoints of which we (maybe in pairs of travelers, sometimes in groups) know not now) :). And instead of leaving gum on the stakes at the checkpoints, travelers leave little notes for other travelers containing stuff/things of interest for other travelers so that everyone can benefit from things they might not have seen. Sometimes groups might stand around and chat for a while and then move to the next point, next point, next point -- so basically there's a ton of notes, and some folk at every checkpoint.
