This song, despite its lyrics, makes me happy when I hear it. It reminds me of senior year in HS, and cutting English Lit. class occasionally that May with a friend of mine, and both of us singing the lyrics really goofily on the way home.

After getting really into Led Zeppelin, I started buying Robert Plant's solo efforts. Here's one I liked a lot back in '95 or so.

This Little Bird (two versions of the song):
And this is just one I've been singing around the house lately and I've always thought it poignant and beautiful. I used to listen to it a lot around '98 or '99 and it reminds me of my friends at the bookstore where I worked and hanging out at T.G.I. Fridays with them.
