The Bougainvillea Hideaway

Enter a hollow of leaves and fuchsia flowers. Random thoughts litter the floor like a bed of crushed petals.

A few more pictures from the park

I haven't had much time to play around with the camera lately, so it was fun for me to be able to leisurely take pictures today. Everyone was engrossed in trying to find turtles or crayfish or what-ever-have-you (Oona was pretending her barbie doll was a fish and was trying to catch her) so I didn't catch too many smiles. We did find a snake. I happened to look down at the water and rocks and saw it with its mouth open and making a sort of a hissing sound. Seeing the snake sort of kept us on our toes for the rest of the time we were in the water.

I hope you're not too bored with so many scenery shots. I remember when I was a kid I never appreciated all the scenery pictures my dad took. I've since come to appreciate them a lot more, though I still like seeing people in my photos from time-to-time. ;)

Also, zoom is a great function! Really silly me never really played around with zoom (I really need to peruse the manual), so I asked Andy where it was on the camera. Fun!
