March Madness
Yup. Here we are. It's the busy season for O'Neills. Birthdays abound and there's a holiday at every turn until May is through. So resolution to write more be damned! Actually, I'm prolly more lazy than anything else. What happens more often than not is this: It's some indeterminate hour nearing bedtime. I look over at the computer with a weary eye, guiltily half-remember everything I meant to stick to this ol' blog during the day, neurotically check for spiders where the headboard leaves a welcoming space for the wondersome creatures, then fall asleep.
Yeah. Something like that. But not always something like that. Only on occasion.
Anyway, as far as special occasions go, it's my father-in-law's birthday as well as Lisa Loeb's birthday today.
So, here:
(not too many choices for songs of hers, and waay too many "Stay"s)
Here, I'll throw in a Cure song that I love for its weirdness (I used to love to mimic it), and a Pink Floyd I used to write on my desk when bored in HS:
Now if I could just get all the poems I've written in my head down on paper, or have the discipline to revise...
As my daughter loves to sign off:
See ya later alligator!
