Kiddo's definitely make Christmas great. My two are in the teenage bracket so it's not as grand as it was a few years ago but it's still much anticipated.
They do indeed! It's great fun to see their excited faces on Christmas morning. My kids haven't yet put together any sort of inconsistencies regarding Santa Claus. Whew! I'd be in for it, I tell ya.
When I was a teen, I still loved the feeling of being with family on Christmas, and opening gifts. I think I had finally got past sneaking a peek and re-taping my gifts.
