The Bougainvillea Hideaway

Enter a hollow of leaves and fuchsia flowers. Random thoughts litter the floor like a bed of crushed petals.

I Spy

The cucumbers, snap beans, cherry tomatoes, thyme, and a dwarf sunflower I planted on Saturday evening have sprouted. It's fun to check on how much they've grown since the last time I looked.

I also noticed a nuthatch climbing down the trunk of a tree near the feeder today. I haven't seen nuthatches in a while!

This past Friday we all saw about thirty or more small light blue butterflies in our yard. They may have been drinking from the little puddles that formed in leaves on our white concrete square.
