Same Thing

I saw an adult and young grackle near the feeder again today. I wonder if they were the same two? I also saw a grackle with its young over at the far side of the creek and off to the left by quite a bit. The adult was feeding it along the rocky edge. Insects? Or something else? I know grackles eat a variety of foods.
