This blog has been missing color for far too long.
NaPoWriMo has left me with a strange emptiness. I feel like I should continue writing a poem a day. As you can see, I tried to write a poem for each day in April. I fell behind some. That last day I wrote four. Yes, I think I'm going to write poems for the days I missed. But, even though I procrastinated, I'm glad I actually stuck to it once I started. I'm usually really horrible about finishing a project, so I'm proud of myself with this little accomplishment. This is not the me that failed to turn in a report only to receive an embarrassing zero as recompense.
I tried to start NaPo by myself, but realized I needed encouragement and support. I'm happy to have participated in PFFA's NaPo. There was a real sense of community. You know, like being stuck in an elevator together going through that same claustrophobic wonder. Ok. Not quite like that. Anyway, if any of you'se guys are reading, well, I thank ya. You made it fun for me. And you've left me with a treasure trove of poems to read. I'm enjoying that part. Thanks.
