The Bougainvillea Hideaway

Enter a hollow of leaves and fuchsia flowers. Random thoughts litter the floor like a bed of crushed petals.

Strawberry Moon

We've had a lot of rainy days since Monday afternoon. June isn't usually like this. At least it's not already in the nineties like it has been during many of the past Junes. In fact, its been pretty cool near us lately.

Which reminds me that the full moon on the second was a strawberry moon. Now I know why!

The grackle was still in training today. It seems more willing to eat at the feeder for longer lengths of time before searching for the adult.

I'm beginning to wonder if some of the grackles have made our pinetree home?
