I don't want two months to pass by again without writing. I've been busy, so NaPo is out this year.

We made it up to Skyline for the first time this season on Saturday. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures. But, what is interesting to me is that many of the trees on the mountains haven't but a small trace of spring about them. They wanted us to think it's late winter. It is about ten degrees cooler up there on average, so I s'pose that can account for the look of those naked trees.
