The Bougainvillea Hideaway

Enter a hollow of leaves and fuchsia flowers. Random thoughts litter the floor like a bed of crushed petals.

Eliot

I had the idea of just posting something, even if it was small, every night. That may have been fairly ambitious of me. Still, I should make the time to post more often to this blog. Anyway, I remembered yesterday that it was T.S. Eliot's birthday. Here are a few links. Enjoy!

Happy B-day, T.S. Eliot!

So happy I didn't miss the gladioli this year!

August?

No pictures today. I'll post some of Blossom and Cinder soon. It looks like I won't be able to take pictures of the hydrangea in flower because it is not yet flowering. Hopefully it will.

So it's almost August. How on earth did that happen? Ah! Perhaps someone accidentally hit fast-forward on the remote. That must be it.

Crisp

I see it's looking a bit dusty in here. Not too bad though. Let me sweep the place up, dust for a bit, and open up a window or two. There. It's all fresh, clean, and crisp once more!
It's been very busy and a little hectic this past week, but I'll be back soon with more pictures and perhaps some flowers.

Blossom and Cinder

We'll have two seven-week-old kittens soon. I'm a little nervous because they are so young, but I'm also happy.

Happy weekend!

For the Birds (Nah.)

I've looked for the ribbon snake every time I've been outside but haven't seen it. I'm also wondering if the grackles moved on. I haven't seen them in a while. I seem to remember them doing that last year around this time as well. I did, however, see the gray catbird the other day. It had been a few weeks since I last saw or heard it.
